So once the revival jam ended I no longer felt pressured to do everything super quickly. Naturally I was then able to complete a large portion of the missing gameplay super quickly. I basically entered some kind of frezied programming flow state and did nearly all this in the span of 24 hours (during which time I basically worked nonstop and did not sleep). The result is that I was also able to integrate my gas simulation into this version of the sandbox. When you play it, you may notice that the gas hit an invisible wall. That is to prevent the gas from spreading too far and destroying your frame rate. Despite this, I have decided not to focus on optimization my gas simulation; and instead I have decided to make completing the gameplay loop the top development priority (see the sprial method).
You can be sure that more updates with real gameplay are on their way!
